For fitness and wellbeing, for fun and companionship, for health and happiness
What is it about?
Walking for Wellbeing for the love of it! Rambling through the rolling Razès, living and breathing in the goodness of the great outdoors, enjoying a bit of companionship while burning a few calories to boot. Distances will vary between 8 and 12 kilometres depending on the particular trail and weather conditions on the day.
Who is it for?
Anyone interested in walking for improved health, fitness and reconnection with nature. We’re walking (not racing) as a small group to enjoy the beautiful rolling Razès in the company of like-minded souls.
When does it take place?
1st Wednesday of each month.
Meet at 08.45H for a 09.00H departure. Please be prompt because we will leave on time. Expect to spend the whole morning outdoors.
If it rains, I’ll still be there to guide those hardy folks who also want to do it regardless of the weather.
Where do we walk?
In and around the gently rolling Razès (until the pandemic ends and then further afield too). A new trail will be posted each month and I'll send you details at the time of booking.
How much is it and how do I pay?
€10 per person.
Contact me to book your place and I’ll send you details for you to make your payment via PayPal. If it rains and you choose not to attend, your payment will be held against a future session (for up to a max of 8 weeks).
If you need to borrow walking poles (or any other kit for that matter), please let me know and I’ll bring extra where I can. If you have any questions or concerns, contact me: I’ll be happy to help.
Two basic rules apply:
- We walk at the pace of the slowest
- We respect each other and nature, minimising negative impact
During pandemic times, a 3rd rule applies:
- We respect social distancing protocols (1 metre apart outside of family bubbles)
