The programme offers a daily 30 minute hatha yoga flow routine and several methods for finding mindfulness while out walking in nature. On this retreat, you have the opportunity to nurture your inner world and harmonise it with your outer world actions, interactions and reactions. This retreat aims to show how to create a careful balance between making time for ourselves and revealing the importance of making time for relating with our true essence, the rest of nature.
To re-balance your inner world:
You'll be shown a simple 30 minute daily hatha yoga flow routine, comprising both standing and sitting poses, designed to bring you some much-deserved inner peace and calm. The yoga is complemented with several sessions on Inner World Journeying, guided meditations using deep imagery to explore your inner landscape, enhance and grow your personal sense of wellbeing through showing you how to harmonise and rebalance your chakras, create your personal totem pole of healing animals and communicate with your spirit guides.
Balancing these components with walking meditation will help you discover meditation practice through movement in nature. Walking meditation develops mindfulness, bringing you to the present moment in every step.
To harmonise you with your outer world:
Balancing your inner work with the outer world, you will learn the art of walking meditation as a means of introducing mindfulness into your outdoor movements through the living landscape, bringing a deep appreciation of the sacred beauty that surrounds you while same-time feeding your soul.
You also have the opportunity to learn more about nature's hidden communications through a series of walks (which we call Symbology of Nature) designed to reveal the unspoken messages the living landscape is sending directly to you. Experiencing how nature talks directly to you changes your relationship with nature forever.
Complemented by some gentle strolling around the beautiful Razès region to de-stress, re-energise and revitalise you, this retreat is designed to re-kindle a passion for life and living, and restore and re-balance your connection with the world around you so that, by the time you come to leave, you'll be feeling altogether happier, stronger and peaceful.
And, of course, if you want to just rest and recuperate in tranquility in the gardens, then the time, privacy and seclusion are all yours.
